Heaphy Track for Bikers from Nelson
Riders launching their Heaphy adventure from Nelson can take advantage of Golden Bay Air’s daily Nelson-based Heaphy Track transport. From Nelson you can shuttle from Nelson to Brown Hut, then after walking the track fly back to Nelson!
Our Nelson-based Heaphy Track transport package incudes pickup from your accommodation in Nelson or Nelson Airport, shuttle to Brown Hut, shuttle from Kohaihai to Karamea Aerodrome and scenic flight back to Nelson. Bike transport included.
Note minimum two fares may apply. Solo riders can join existing shuttles or pay the two-fare minimum with a partial refund available if others book. You can search online for single fares, but to book flights and shuttles with bike freight, please contact us.
Those riding from Kohaihai to Brown Hut can take advantage of our flight fare specials.

For those riding the Heaphy Track from the West Coast to Golden Bay, Golden Bay Air provides scheduled flights and scheduled shuttles that can be booked for transport between Nelson and Kohaihai, and from Brown Hut back to Nelson.
Note a scheduled shuttle can be booked between Karamea and Kohaihai. The rate is $35pp including bike transport.
