We depart daily between Nelson, Marahau, Kaiteriteri, Takaka, Wainui and Totaranui1. We offer free pick-ups and drop-offs in selected accommodation in Nelson and Marahau as well as Nelson city (Millers Acre), Nelson Airport, Takaka Visitor Centre and Takaka Airport. Use our Abel Tasman shuttle bus to transfer between Wainui and Marahau back to your car, or connect with our scheduled flights to and from Wellington or Nelson. Note we require a minimum of 2 seats booked on shuttles during peak season and 4 seats during off-peak season (see below for dates). Singles may join shuttles that are already booked. Check a list of shuttle specials that do not require a minimum number to book.

SailingAbel Tasman Sailing Adventures offer a wide range of scenic sailing single and multi-day tours and combination activities. Abel Tasman Coastal TrackThe 51km Abel Tasman Coastal Track is New Zealand's easiest Great Walk. It extends from Wainui Bay (24 km from Takaka) to Marahau (62 km from Nelson). The coastal track crosses estuaries, two of which are only passable near low tide. Please consult tide timetables when planning your trip. Huts in Abel Tasman do not have cooking fuel supplied. Camping fuels are as hazardous substances and cannot be carried on aircraft. We can provide fuel at cost-price when you arrive in Takaka by prior arrangement. Hut spaces and campsites need to be booked prior to departure. Refer to the Department of Conservation for track and booking information. Accommodation is also available at Aquapackers, Awaroa Lodge, Wilsons Beachfront Lodges or by renting an Awaroa holiday home. Abel Tasman Links
